Graduate Studies & Research
Dr. Hassib Jamal Audi
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
School of Arts & Sciences – Natural Sciences
Dr. Hassib Audi joined the Natural Sciences Department at Lebanese American University as a PT faculty member in February 2015. In addition to having teaching duties, he was heavily involved in conducting research in collaboration with many research groups. This resulted in many first-author and co-author publications affiliated with LAU in an interdisciplinary field, published in international indexed journals. Recently, he was appointed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at LAU.
Dr. Audi received his Bachelor in science from the Lebanese university in 2006. His MSc and PhD in Chemistry and MSc in Business Administration MBA were received from Burgundy University, France in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Through his diverse experiences in chemical synthesis, he developed his own approach in tackling new scientific challenges and expand his vision for directing innovative research projects.
His research interests focusing on the relationship between structure and activity in novel organometallic compounds for photo dynamic therapy PDT. Recently, He started working in the area of metal organic framework (MOFs). His research in the area of MOFs has been focused on the incorporation of novel organometallic compounds into the framework of MOFs for better application in catalysis, gas storage and gas separation.
