Dr. P. Senthil Kumar has a wide research experience in the fields of Water/Wastewater Analysis, Pollution Control Treatment Methods, Environmental Nanobiotechnology and Alternative Fuels. He has 17 years of teaching and research experience and 1 year of industrial experience. He holds one Indian Patent on “Shrimp Shell Waste into Biodegradable Grocery Bags”, 500+ International Journal Publications, 100+ book chapters and 100+ National/International Conference Publications. He also wrote one book titled “Modern Treatment Strategies for Marine Pollution” published by Elsevier. He has 17850+ citations with a Google Scholar h-index of 67+ along with i10 index of 312+. He has been awarded the AICTE National Technical Teachers Award (NTTA-2022), Malaviya Memorial (Young Faculty) Award 2019, IEI Young Engineers Award 2017-2018, Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award 2017, CTS Best Teacher Award and Many Young Scientist Awards. He is a recognized Anna University Research Supervisor to guide Ph.D./M.S. candidates. Under his guidance, 14 Ph.D. Scholars have completed, and 10 Ph.D. scholars are currently pursuing in the various fields of environmental and chemical engineering.
