Dr. Abdelouahed Tounsi is a Chair Professor of Civil and Enviromental Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He was featured in the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers list in 2017 and 2018. He has over 200 publications in various venues. His research interests include Plate/Beam theories, Composite Structures, Functionally graded Structures, Nanocomposite structures, Nanoplates, Nanobeams, and Non-local Elasticity.
