Dr. Yasser Vasseghian

Dr. Yasser Vasseghian is a distinguished academic currently affiliated with the Department of Chemistry at Soongsil University in South Korea. Besides, he serves as an Adjunct Research Faculty at Lebanese American University (LAU). Prof. Vasseghian obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Razi University, Iran, in 2016.
His scholarly contributions are prolific, with a focus on Innovative eco-friendly nanomaterials, Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs), Hydrogen generation, and Biofuels. Prof. Vasseghian’s research output includes over 210 ISI-indexed papers, highlighting his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge in these crucial areas.
Prof. Vasseghian’s expertise and impact have been recognized globally, as evidenced by his inclusion in the Top 2% Scientist list at Stanford University report for both 2022 and 2023. He also holds key editorial roles, serving as an Associate Editor for prestigious journals such as Carbon Letters (Springer), Environmental Geochemistry and Health (Springer), and Alexandria Engineering Journal (Elsevier). Additionally, he is a valued member of the Editorial Boards of Scientific Reports (Nature) and Water and Environment Journal (Wiley).
