Jana El Ahmar joined the Lebanese American University in 2023 as a Graduate Student Recruitment Officer, where she works under the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and Research. She is involved in the university’s graduate recruitment efforts and serves as a point of contact between various university offices supporting graduate students. Additionally, Jana represents the university’s values and vision when engaging with external partners and organizations.

Before this role, Jana worked as a Student Counselor at an international student recruitment agency, guiding students from the Middle East in finding higher education opportunities abroad. She also contributed to promoting LAU’s undergraduate programs by engaging with schools, parents, and prospective students to support enrollment growth.
