Jana El Ahmar joined the Lebanese American University in 2023 as Graduate Student Recruitment Officer reporting to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and Research. She is responsible for implementing the university’s graduate recruitment strategy and acting as a liaison officer between various university offices involved in the recruitment and retention of graduate students. She also serves as a dynamic ambassador, representing the university’s mission and vision to the wider community as she engages with external partners and organizations.Jana honed her skills and expertise as a Student Counselor at an esteemed international recruitment agency. In her role she offered students from the middle east professional consultation and guidance in their pursuit of higher education opportunities abroad.
Jana’s passion for educational excellence also found expression within LAU’S halls. At its dedicated Student Recruitment office, she actively promoted the university’s undergraduate programs, reaching out to school principals, counselors, parents, and potential students with the goal of increasing enrollment.
In this dynamic role, Jana El Ahmar plays a central part in ensuring the university’s continuity as a beacon of academic excellence, attracting the brightest minds from around the globe.
