Grants Search Engines
1. Research Professional
LAU was granted access to Research Professional, an academia’s favorite source of intelligence on funding opportunities and research policy. Faculty can access for free a database of funding opportunities in all disciplines through this link: http://info.researchprofessional.com/#/
Interested Faculty need to email Jon Thornton (firstname.lastname@example.org), Account Manager at Research, to create an access account on the existing subscription.
Research Professional allows you to search its database, save your searches, and even receive email alerts from Research Professional. These email alerts are based on searches for funding opportunities you have saved to your account. They are sent every Friday, and will contain any opportunities added to the database during the past week which match your search.
Kindly note that prior to applying for a funding opportunity, Faculty need to fill out the “Proposal Submission Approval” form and submit it to the Graduate Studies and Research Office at email@example.com.
For further information please contact the Graduate Studies and Research Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. Proposal Central
Faculty can use Proposal Central, a web-based grant management website, to
- search for funding opportunities as the website has more than 20 participating non-profit, state, and private grant-makers, offering 140 grant programs
- submit proposals online
Applicants need to register only once to apply for any of the programs offered in proposalCENTRAL; you will be requested to fill out the professional profile default information, the research interests, personal data for applications, and the bio-sketch.
