USAID meeting on Partnership for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER)

On the 13th of December 2016, the Graduate Studies & Research office organized a meeting with Mr. Mario Rebeiz from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Lebanon. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the application process to the Partnership for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER). Mr. Rebeiz informed participants about USAID Lebanon Mission priorities, application tips, guidelines, evaluation process, and recommendations.

Investigators from Lebanon are eligible to apply to the 6th Call in PEER under Environmental Contaminants. Under this call, PEER seeks to support research projects focused on understanding environmental contaminants from various sources such as conflict, industrialization, urbanization, and agricultural activity and their impacts on people, the environment, and economies.
